NANO POEM FOR AFRICA

The land where the King of the Jungle, the mighty lions roar.

Where colourful cultures and rituals flourish.

On the expansive grasslands wildebeest and zebras get nourished.

Africa, the cradle of human development, the human civilization door.

Dr. Paramita Mukherjee Mullick is a scientist, a national scholar transformed into a globally loved, award-winning poet. She is from India. She has published nine books and her poems have been widely published in national and international journals. Some of her poems have been translated into 40 world languages. Paramita is the President of the Intercultural Poetry and Performance Library (IPPL) and the Cultural Convenor and Literary Coordinator (West India) of the International Society for Intercultural Studies and Research (ISISAR). She promotes different types of poetry—Peace, Multilingual, Global and Indigenous. Apart from numerous Indian awards, she has received the Gold Rose (Argentina) and the Panorama International Literature Award (Greece).
