WOLF

I touch you as I would touch a wolf

        – Gently, so you wouldn’t tear

       the apple-flavored flesh from me.

 I talk to you loudly

        – So you could hear me

           in your  madness .

I look at you with fear

      – Because your love has

        the smell of blood.

Елизабета Дончевска Лушин

Elizabeta Dončevska Lušin is a poet and prose writer born 1967 in Strumica, Macedonia.

She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy. Her novel “Behind the Rainbow”, which, when it was published, entered the competition for the novel of the year (among the first 5 novels).

Her collection of poetry “Invisible Shapes” was holder of recognition for the affirmation of the Macedonian language and literature. She issued  a fairy tale for children”Snowflake Love“. Her short storys,  “Urban Game” is included in the collection of short stories “Parallel Life” and “Box of Oblivion” is part of the  collection “Quarantine Stories”.
