Goodbye, Alin

I was very keen to read the articles of our late Filipino media colleague, Alin Ferrer (December 29, 1970 – June 8, 2024), and translate these articles into Arabic.

The real communication with the audience’s opinions on her live radio show gave her insight to write powerfully about her topics, as she possessed both knowledge and passion.

I used to capture her eternal smile and I still remember how happy she was when I gave her the miniature painting my daughter Fadwa had made for her. Aline published the miniature of the artwork and wrote in Filipino a heartwarming phrase “Puno ng Buhay” , “Full  of Life”, by a very young 8-year-old Egyptian artist named Fadwa. Amazing!”

Memories are all we have, and so her words and smile will live forever in the eyes and hearts of her family, friends and readers.
