Ashraf Hasan is a poet of purity as classic nature-based creator. His poetry is heart-touching artistic meaningful message-crafted words. Ashraf Hasan also, has been writing critics on poetry as well translation in English, Bangla and Arabic . His poems have been published in world class English poetry journal- ‘The Cambridge-Hall Poetry Journal’ and. ‘From The Heart’. He has been writing poetry, critics, articles and essays in the Bangladeshi and international newspaper, literary journal and online media. He got the honorable ‘young writer award’ and certificate  by the prominent Bangladeshi Literary organization The Central Sahtya Sangsad, Sylhet. He is awarded more times as got certificates by international literary groups– The Passion Of Poetry, World Of Poesy & Prose, Skylark Poetry Society,  Contemporary literary society of Amlor- India.
Ashraf Hasan was born in Chhatok, Sylhet, Bangladesh in 1974. He studied at Sylhet MC College, Bangladesh and City University of New York, USA. Ashraf Hasan worked as a journalist at several newspapers. He worked as a teacher at English medium schools and lecturer of Bangla at Technical Institute in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Currently he is a  teacher at Manhattan Bangla-cultural School and literary editor at Channel786 dotcom New York.
He has 4 published books of poetry and 2 combined. His collection of English poetry is to be published.
